The technique involves intricately placing thousand of dots and hand knotting, pinching, and resist-dying them to create figurative patterns. Featured here is a custom-made half and half Banarasi Silk Georgette saree. The lower half ( pleats area in Green ) features a Banarasi Jaal in zari filled with  pinch-size dots! The top half in contrasting Ink Blue depicts winding floral jaal patterns in the meticulous Sarkam technique!

The fabric is pure georgette that is processed from pure natural silk and woven into this matt finished semi-sheer saree in Banaras. The saree is then transported to the land of Kutch in Gujarat, where the Bandhni work happens.

This saree is ready to wear with fall and pico done. Handmade silk tassels adorn the pallu and add more grace to it. An unstitched blouse fabric is included.
